I've beaten through a lot of great games in the past 22 years including all the games on my games list.

Today I beat MGS4. It has taken the Crown from The Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past as the best game of all time IMO.

Of course many will just assume I'm full of it because I'm a "PS3 fanboy" that's fine. You don't need to take my word for it. But here are my reasons:

1. It's easily the best looking game I've seen. And yes I've seen Crysis on high. I own Crysis. And it's not just about frames per second or polygons pumped. I'm talking about presentation. "Impossible!". See for yourself.

2. The audio is the best thing I've heard outside of a movie theater.

3. Phatter Cutscenes then FF7. Yes that's right and yes FF7 had some Phat cutscenes.

4. A story that rivals FF6. In this age of gaming just to mention that a game might have a story which you could compare to FF6 is amazing.

5. It's the best shooter since RE4.

6. A whole bunch of other stuff that I'm not going to tell you because I have enough class not to spoil it.

It has its flaws. The ending is a bit too long and the controls can be difficult to pick up. Still, it is the best game of this generation and all time IMO.

Find a way to play this game.

Excellent game, but far from "best of all time". I don't think it's possible to name any one game as "best" since it's extremely difficult to factor in the technology and standards of the time compared to today. There are a lot of games that are in the top tier.

There are a lot of games are were and still are considered some of the best games ever made.  It would take forever to list all of them.

Best gaming experience ever!

Was a very memorable game. I was almost in a trance from the beginning to the end like I was one of the characters. The only game I rate higher than mgs4 is PE2 and thats just because of PE2's replayability which is higher than mgs4 to me.

uhhh I doubt it.

1. Crysis on High settings brutalizes MGS4 on graphics. And Crysis has a cinematic feel throughout almost the entire gameplay, while according to everyone MGS4 can only be cinematic on cutscenes....

2. I can't debate this, since I have not touched the game yet.

3. Abuse of cutscenes = BAD! Kojima needs to get a grip on things, or he should just make movies.

4. FF6's story is not even in the top 20 best videogame stories of alltime, though I do agree it has probably the best story of a jrpg.

5. uhhh, MGS4 is not even a shooter.
