GTA IV Episodic Content Confirmed As 360-Exclusive

OK, no, it wasn't a mistake: GTA IV's episodic content is going to be a 360-only affair, a Take-Two spokesperson has confirmed. No doubt Peter Moore's left bicep is breathing a sigh of relief. The statement, given to Gamesindustry.biz, reads:

"The Grand Theft Auto IV episodic content is exclusive to Xbox 360."

There you have it. Sorry, PS3 owners. Really. This kind of competitive hair-splitting just makes everyone involved look a little less dignified.

um what are core owners to do ? where are they going to download it to ?

Wow, this... sounds like a big deal, from a non-360, non-PS3 owning person who has no interest in GTA IV at all.

Am I correct?

 No.

I did think of a reason for this. All the content may just be on blu-ray. If that's the case, then the 360 content should be free, since Microsoft won't force Rockstar to make it look like a game is better on another system.

Is it me or Kotaku sometimes sounds like unprofessional Xbox fanboys? Some of their posts irritates me.

This is exclusive content for what is undeniably the biggest third party franchise over the last 10 years.

I'm willing to believe you, but how is this NOT a big deal?

It's a blog, so of course there are commentaries with the stories. If you want to follow who says what, look at the authors and whatever stories they write.

Next-Gen.biz is pretty objective with their stories.
