Forums - Gaming - Akuma possibily in Street Fighter IV?

For those that have been keeping up with SFIV, Akuma has yet to be confirmed but in SFIV's Japanese site, they have a short anime scene that would cause u to think that he will be in SFIV.

Do u think he will be in it?

Edit: the videos are split in 2 columns, one for Arcade, and one for PS3/360. This is the only video for the PS3/360 column, could mean that he is only going to be in consoles.

I think and i hope he will.

I'm pretty sure he will be. I mean, isn't DAN in the game?

Akuma has already been verbally confirmed to be in the console versions, and this just strengthens that fact. Dan and Fei Long are also confirmed to be in the console versions, but not in the arcade version.

However, what the video makes me wonder, considering the end of it, is if we might see Gouken in the console versions?

When everybody was talking about Brawl and some people were complaining about clones, I couldn't help but think about Street Fighter and Ryu/Ken/Dan/Akuma.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

Haha, yeah. Some gamers are just too damn spoiled :P

Yeah... Akuma will be in this game. That's a given.

Cause Capcom likes money and Akuma is really popular.

Yeah Akuma must be in this game too..

Wow, they are putting me in the game? I'm flattered!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
