Shape up nicely??? This game was supposed to be released LAST YEAR.

Although let's be frank, how mnay people are still interested in this?

A lot of people are still interested in this game, its like GTA4 but this game is fun to play.  Heli's, tanks and all the missiles you could dream of, who would not want to play this game.

I totally forgot about it. I was indifferent before, but now it would have to really impress me to get me to purchase it.

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

Did you just compared Mercenaries franchise (if it can even be called a franchise) to GTA franchise?

Let's not kid ourself here. If this game gets great review, yes, people will be interested again. If not, it will be another Haze.

Im sorry, kingofwale, but i am really interested in this game. I´ve been waiting for it since i finished the first one. If you don´t care, fine, just don´t buy it. I know i will, and enjoy the hell out of it.

This looks like it really is shaping up to be a good game, particularly with some of the inter-character sequences such as taking over a tank. But I gotta believe dropping a grenade inside a tank wouldn't leave it in a usable condition! LOL!
