Why worry, there is no reason to. The service will eventually be discontinued over time. You can't expect the Wii or it's service to last for eternity. Though the online service may be supported in the next console. So just keep the channels and games you download. I have an SD card and have more room than I'll ever use on it. I won't delete the game off of it, so I'll never lose them.
And the concept of losing all the games when you get the next system is weird to me. Uh, just keep the Wii, then you'll never lose the games. They may have something that they can transfer to the next system, which would be cool. But if they don't, it's only your own fault for losing the games if you get rid of your Wii.
