realistically you know it took M$ 5 years to build LIVE to what it is right? Xbox's life plus what the 360 has had so far = what it is now.

 

Took years to develop the ipod.. but sure as hell didn't take long for fake imitations to come out...

 

Edit-  bah people probably won't get that.. so I'll say it in simpler terms.. its easier to copy something that already exists then to create something new

If you get smashed all the time in online games people lose interest and quit. I bet the best players have faster broadband, have cheats enabled ie God mode, turbo, high accuracy and infinite ammo. I have played games for like only half an hour online and quit after getting smashed it was boring as hell. Online gaming is not that big of a deal. Single player, co-op and offline MP are much more fun. IMO.
