No, but you can buy the wiimote without Wii Play, so 13 million people specifically went out of their way to buy a $10 game

Ds is a handheld, this topic is about home consoles.

Halo 3 has sold more at the moment than wii fit, smg, mario kart or brawl.  If you count multiplatforms, then yes. Cod4&GTA IV will sell more than halo 3.
