If its just an "enhanced" port with added gameplay and dungeons, I won't be that excited.

If it's a full on 3D remake like FFIV and FFIII, then I'm a lot more excited.

I kinda would have preferred this on the Wii, PS3 or even the PSP...but oh well.

I'd rather carry the best RPGs ever made with me on one awesome handheld.

i would cry if it was psp (cause of awsome update to graphics) but ds is good enough



Owner of all consoles cept DS.....Currently in love with prototype!

Agree. The DS has too many RPGs. I HATE THE DS X_X NO MONEY!!!! :( And a new CT would be awesomesace. Also, anyone think they'll revive SUPER MARIO RPG too?

No, since it's been rated for Virtual Console...

Not that that wasn't awesome news in itself.

over 2 million copies in Japan with another 200K+ in North America

Chrono Cross is a little on the easy side, sure.  But the plot is actually very intruging, especially if you can forgive the pacing problems and the battle system is pretty strategetic.  Some of the characters didn't recieve a lot of development because they were optional and weren't all that important to the story.

Well I am already happy if it is a 2D game with added gameplay and dungeons but I also would love a 3D remake and on the Wii but getting this on DS is just way more than I ever could dream off =p.

I honestly wouldn't complain no matter what this remake was on. I would buy anything for a CT remake. Anything. I'm just happy it's happening. I completely understand making it on the DS given how ridiculously successful their DS remakes have been so far.
