Even with PS3 hardware boost with MGS4 the sales turned into normal again after the following week. And with TOS2 and the new DS sales on japan, I think PS3 sales in Japan sinks more. Nothing can stop the domnination of the Wii, but this coming E3 will confirmed that Wii won the console war. Even the PS360 fanboys will admit themselves that there favorite console lost to the Wii, thats why this coming E3 is important.

 

 

Wii sports is bundled (and the best wii game IMO because its a perfect fit for the Wiimote), Wii Fit is a cunning entry into the fitness area (fitness devices sell amazing numbers) and at 5million it still has to do some sales.

Wii music on the other hand ... How many people make electronic music? Exactly.

Well first of all, we are talking about nintendo developed games. Also if you are just picking the games that were published by microsoft, and not developed then that wouldn't make sense if it isn't their game. For example gears of war isn't a microsoft franchise, but it's published by them. Also not to mention that quality> quantity, and we should look at the best rated games from both developers. So please redo you average with games that are owned by microsoft. Other wise its not considered first party.

Uhm who said you have to like making music to enjoy Wii Music?  If we've learned anything about Nintendo this generation its that they know how to make a game accessible and exciting to people who might not otherwise have liked it.  Add in the Mii funcitonality and I have a feeling the game will be flying off shelves, perhaps it won't be selling to people with your tastes but I'd be pretty surprised if it doesn't do at least 2 million units WW.

Good Point, but this kind of game could be a hit or miss imo. I could see alot of families playing it.

All three consoles have good games and it all depends on your own preferences which one is the best choice for you.

@Rhonin your basic assumption is correct, game taste was never more important than now.

But just one point: Only using the exclusives for all three consoles gives the Wii an unfair advantage. The best games on PS3 and 360 are PS360 multiplatform games. they have one thing in common they are normally not available on Wii. (GTA, Call of Duty4, Assassin's, Devil May Cry, Civilization, Half-Life2, GTA to name just a few.)
