I'm almost certain WiiMusic AND Wii MotorSports will be out this Xmas. MotorSports might just be a WiiWare title though - now that WiiWare is out, Nintendo will start releasing lots of small games as WiiWare titles (its right up their alley).

These GC games have NOT been done on the Wii yet:

 - Pokemon (the "true" Wii Pokemon game hasn't been announced, and will almost certainly be a pay-to-play MMO style online game)

 - Zelda (true Wii Zelda probably in '09)

 - Mario Party (MP8 was "just" a GC port - the next MP, possibly out this Xmas - will be a much, much better MP title)

 - Paper Mario (Super Paper Mario is "just" a spin-off, the true successor to Thousand Year Door is still coming - maybe next year)

 - Mario Tennis/Golf (maybe), Waverace, Fzero, 1080, (etc)...

I'd REALLY love a new Luigis mansion - maybe also a Princess Peach title. We are getting a Wii Wario (yeah!).

And lets not forget completely about Nintendogs or Brain Training - the biggest DS franchises, neither on the Wii (yet).

It will still be most likely done by the same team and the last one has been released 18months ago. How long does it take normally to release a Zelda game?



Not exactly mega-seller But its true the Wii get lots of third-party support from Japan because they are the only relevant console there at the moment. That alone is a bit thin though.

Maybe I should have said it differently ...

There are more hardcore gamers buying PS360 than hardcore gamers buying Wii (particularly if u exclude the Ninty hardcore fans).

Since, by definition, hardcore gamers buy hardcore games.

if u want to devellop a hardcore game, you should better focus on PS360 than on Wii

NOTE1, I m not talking about 3rd party games in general but 3rd party hardcore games

NOTE2, Oviously, u can also make a PS360+Wii games that will allow you to make more money but since Ninty is not pushing developpers on this way, since they prefer focus on casual ... you know "who" to blame ...

OH I SEE, and I thought those 2 games were cancelled. We never heard of them ever since E3 2006 just like Project H.A.M.M.E.R. Wii Airplane was actually a part of Wii Motor Sports BTW,the one we mistaken for PilotWings Wii. About 3rd parties, after the sales of Tales of Symphonia 2 we will knew if core third party games arent selling on the Wii or not. If it sells well I hope 3rd party games dont sell on the Wii naysayers will just stop posting about it.

Isn't the "it's about the games" point more self-defining than real?  I mean, these are videogame machines which play videogames, so in every successful enterprise, there will be games involved.

 

All of the "Wii specific" games by themselves would not have been as successful without the Wii-mote.

It's the total package, not just the parts.

I don't feel like playing the "list 10 games" game, but unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that there aren't just Japanese games coming along. I'm just going to mention one I'm looking forward too - COD5, which according to a developer has isn't dumbed down like COD3 was.
