what happened to No more heroes?

it was published by UBI, but it bombed, so why should UBI try when it was burned?

You have just opened a can of worms. UBI didn't advertise the title at all.

that game only sold to the hardcore, and the hardcore should of been well informed about the game anyways, being that most frequent forums and game sites in general, but still the game failed, perhaps hardcore wii owner should have bought the game in greater number, and then perhaps UBI would be doing things a bit different, after all money speaks.

I figure like myself most others here are confused or in distaste mainly because they know Ubisoft tends to delivery supplimental garbage.

I know I could only imagine how redudant, and soulless those games are. This is just based on how Ubisoft treats any game they make.

I'm not even saying it's just the Wii I mean even since the Ps2 Ubisoft has always made the worst of the worst - how they are still making even a profit is beyond me, them and Eidos should exchange places, at least Eidos doesn't make games that are explicity 1 dimensional.

Assassins Creed play required an eigth the brain power of a dating Sim with 'next gen graphics'.

They released RB6V2, RB6V was so freakn' not a good game but it was unique in it's presintation and that's what made it sell, but then they don't even try to remove what was wrong with RB6V and keep what was right, they just added IGXMB and left it at that. (face morphing.)

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Not all the gamers spend all day scouring the Internet for info about all the games. Not even all the hardcore gamers, whoever those people are.

Lulz you act like hardcore wii gamers are one force and have total control over eachother. Also a great number of people who buy hardcore games are really casual in terms of playtime, and don't go online everyday to see what games to buy like we do. Alot look on tv for commercials, or try it at a game store. And if that was the case that every hardcore gamer goes online to see what there is , t hen the wii userbase is the msot hardcore because for most sites there are more wii fans than both ps3 or 360 fans.

Edit: Also seeing as grasshoppers last game sold like 10k I believe. That is a great achievement for them.

you make it appear like info was hard to find, but even I who wasn't interested in the game found out about the game from threads in this website as well as from typical places like IGN and Gamespot, I mean it's like this game was made in area 51 and then out of the blue was put on store shelvs, so there isn't any need to make it seem like that was the case. Now I'll admit it didn't have a marketing budget like halo 3, but then again it was never a AAA game to begin with and then theirs the fact that it was a new IP made by a developer who are known more for their quirky out there games than anything else.

So, in your mind, it's not necessary to advertise games like No More Heroes because internet forums and gaming sites do all the work? Are you saying the companies which do advertise games like that are just wasting their money?

I'm going to assume you mean Killer 7, which only has Japanese sales despite being released in three different regions. Hell, if we went by No More Heroes's Japanese sales, it would be just as bad of a flop.

True, but even they said that it was their best selling game. Also why no data for europe and U.S?

Sc: A lot of games from previous generations have no sales data, and as ioi has said, smaller games are harder to track. Killer 7 did not really have high enough sales to be included in the charts, especially over more important titles.

I hate Ubisoft's crappy games.
