Forums - Nintendo - your opinion on E3!

Nintendo isn't the only company that surprises people, though. MGS2 was a huge deal back in the day. We will see how much Nintendo has been hiding, though.

Yeah, Nintendo isn't the only one who does it, but this year in particular, they have far and away more cards yet to be played than Sony and MS.

We all pretty much know what is coming for the other 2 for the holidays. The Wii's lineup from September through the end of 2008 (and beyond) is a giant mystery which E3 will likely make clear. And, as I said, new announcements generally trump previously-announced game updates when it comes to fan excitement. Now it's just a matter of what those annoucements are. Of course Nintendo will show a bunch of first party games, but what big, possibly exclusive third party games may be unveiled to put the lineup over the top?

I can pretty much say one thing with certainty: One big name game they announce for the holidays will slip to February or March of 2009. It always happens. SSB:B, Eternal Darkness (slipped closer to a year), Starfox Adventures (also slipped pretty far), Resident Evil 4, Zelda: Wind Waker. The list is pretty numerous.

The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.

I'm looking forward to E3, not just because of game announcements but to experience the shitstorm if Sony/MS announce their WiiTooMotes.
