BLOG - You read that right. Six idiots went on a GTA crime spree.
In an effort to prove game legislators right, six idiot teenagers have allegedly said that their late night crime spree in Nassau County, New York was inspired by Grand Theft Auto.

The sextet of idiots first mugged a person in front of a supermarket, and then robbed a motorist and "smashed a passing van with a bat," Newsday reported.

"It was determined that they were emulating the character in that Grand Theft Auto game, going on a crime spree," said Nassau's Det. Sgt. Anthony Repalone, adding that the cops received "certain admissions" from the culprits.

The group of males included an 18 year old (Niko), two 17 year olds (Roman, Dimitri), and 16 (Packie), 15 (Playboy X) and 14 (Little Jacob) year old kids.

Hard to believe people can be so stupid.  Worse, sadly people keep buying M games for their kids.  I saw a woman buying GTAIV for her 8 yr old the other day.  The store clerk told her about the violence, sexuality, etc and she still bought it for him.

Sooner or later someone is going to make it illegal to buy M games for minors (like cigerettes).

Those are the key points of this story: parental responsibility.

If making it illegal to sell M games to minors means adults will be able to enjoy whatever level of violence, language and sexuality they are personally comfortable with, then I am fine with it.

EDIT: Of course retailers will have to have the balls to carry them. Thank goodness there is the internet which will always be willing to carry controvertial goods.

parets need to watch their children instead of blame video games altogether than excepting there a bad parent.
