Finally someone understood.

That was the only point, though the headline may have been sensationalistic.. I apologize.

PS2 Division = Profitable??
PSP Division = Profitable??

Then PS3 (hardware and software) lost MORE than 3.2 Billion - thats all.

I just ASSUMED (there is that word again), that PS2 was WILDLY PROFITABLE as people were claiming it to be - due to hardware cost = cheap, and software cost = cheap

PSP I wasn't familiar with - but maybe I INCORRECTLY assumed that it is making money

Yeah, I understand that if people questioned the assumptions. I don't mind.

I just wanted people to come up with a different set of assumptions and as I mentioned in the thread, we can calculate it based on those different assumptions.

But nobody ever did. I didn't think the original assumptions were SO UNREASONABLE.. that is PS2 is profitable, and PSP is profitable.

Should I try to do MSFT 9 months FY 2008 as well?

I can make another thread.

Did they make any projections to March 2009?

I didn't read any. But I am only looking at financial reports and not really any announcements or anything like that.
