Well, I just got the game and so did my brother and we have both been playing it and I have to say I am very impressed.  I am using it on an original Nintendo DS (as in non-lite) and it works very well.

For any doubters the controls work great and it is really a lot of fun, especially multiplayer.  I would definitely suggest any Guitar Hero fan with a DS to get this game.  It's going to be great for my brother and I because we are going on a two week vacation starting this weekend with the family but the majority of the trip is going to be in the car.

Anyone else who owns the game can say what they think here and anyone who has any questions be sure to ask.  It really is awesome!

I'm glad to hear it plays well, but I just can't justify purchasing this with that horrible tracklist. I hope they release better expansions in the future because I would love to play Guitar Hero on the DS.

How's lefty mode? And how do you think those unfortunate people without styli (styluses) will do?

I may need to get a DS soon.

Lefty mode works well as it reverses everything including text and stuff on the screen to make it work for them.  And the game comes with a special pick stylus that works well for the game.

I plan to buy this also when the price lowers a tad

I plan to pick up a guitar hero game in about 5 years when i can get a game guitar for $10 and the game for $5

Well, I just beat the Career mode on hard and am going to be moving on to Expert soon.

The game is excellent and really, all Guitar Hero fans with a DS should get it.

I am getting this game,it looks awesome.
