HOW COULD THEY SELL THE RIGHTS TO THE THEME SONG!!!????!!!!

CBC has sold the rights to the iconic Hockey Night In Canada theme song, now Canada's '2nd National Anthem' is the hands of CTV and its TSN sport network. While the song will likely remain a part of the hockey scene in Canada what bonehead executiv would sell a priceless peice of Canadiana? And now they want us to come up with a new one in a summer, I grew up with that song, all Canadians did, its a engrained into our culture, and its up for sale? Complete and utter bullshit.

Forget the Ubisoft boycott, boycott the CBC.

Around the Network

Meh. Change happens.

Just like the Flames will actually do something without a beardo as their captain.

Montreal may one day draft a player who's not quebecois.

People other than someone living in Toronto will like the Maple Leafs?

Edmonton will stop talking about the Gretzsky days?

Okay, maybe some things are consistent in hockey. Like that song. Oh well.

See Ya George.

"He did not die - He passed Away"
