Forums - Sony Discussion - Predicts the 12 PS key titles Square Enix will release on the PSN on Japan

Who said they're not putting out Final Fantasy VII?

Around the Network

Chrono Cross will probably be one of them since SE seem to care a lot about the Chrono series(I have proof if you need it)

It's basically going to be the titles SE doesnt't touch anymore or can't touch anymore. Star Ocean, FF, DQ, etc. are definitely out. I'm not sure about Legend of Mana, they could always port that to PSP or something.

Like Einhander I expect most of them to be the non-RPG non-blockbuster games like Tobal and Bushido Blade. With maybe Vagrant Story and Chrono Cross tossed in.

You people are also forgetting Enix titles, some of those ended up on the VC. There's Itadaki Street, Mystic Ark, etc.

Star Ocean isn't milked like FF and DQ are.  Star Ocean is probably out though since there is a remake for both SO1 and SO2 on the PSP that is rumored to get a US release soon

Star Ocean remakes are bound to get a US release eventally.  SO3 sold well so I don't see why not?

No.  These PSN games are only confirmed for Japan.  So it's not worth speculating on whether games will be released because of American possibilties.

Hope this becomes available to us soon.

I saw this on magic box:

Einhander (Square Enix)
Astronoka (Square Enix)
Xenogears (Square Enix)
Rakugaki Showtime (Treasure/Square Enix)
Raystorm (Taito)
Fighter's Impact (Taito)

I forgot that SE owns Taito now, so their titles count. I also know that Astronoka was an Enix game.

I was talking about the PSP remakes of SO1 and SO2 coming to the US
