Well, I can guarantee it will sell at least one copy. You can put money on that if you'd like.
I'll go out on a limb and say FF13 will sell 10+ mil WW(this limb might snap as there appear to be at least two others out here.) It really will depend on if Square/Enix can wow people with it, and straight up, I think they have that ability. There are simply more gamers out there now. The hobby is exploding and past results are no guarantee on future returns(which works both ways, down and up.) But mostly, I'm making this prediction because by the time FF13 reaches whatever number of sales it's going to reach(probably 3 or so years away) no one's going to remember this post. Hell, I could say 20m and no one'll remember. In fact, I just did...and I've already forgotten.
In short: too early.
