They are so related... there will be better artistic looking games because of the higher capabilities of the system.

Odin Sphere had lots of slowdown because it was on the PS2... SF II HD on 360 and PS3 is gonna look amazing as a 2D game.

It depends on the makers of the game how they make it, I bet you there will be artistic games on 360 and PS3 that could have never been made on the PS3 just as Okami couldn't have been made on the PS1 or Odin Sphere for that matter...

Please note, I never mentioned how the game played. I am very aware of the slowdown, and it would have been much better to have it on a system that was capable of playing it without that. My comment was on the artwork. I didn't say they weren't related at all, just only to a certain point, and I think the PS3 and 360 passed that point. SF2 looks good... for SF2. It's still limited by it's own art style. Graphics are graphics, art is art, making something look clearer and crisper is great, but a game can be clean and crisp and nothing but artistic and still be amazing looking (Odin Sphere as a perfect example). Super Smash Bros. Brawl has incredibly crisp and clean graphics. The levels all look gorgeous and unique. That I think is plenty, I don't find it necessary to see organs spill out in super high definition.

It comes down to the people who make the game in the end, I predict to you there will be better looking artistic games this gen than Odin Sphere and you are anle to push a game more even if it is all art and not realism...

Eternal Sonata may take the crown from Odin Sphere. The game is gorgeous.

It's very pretty but not Odin Sphere pretty haha

I still think Okami looks better than Odin Sphere but they're too different to compare...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Bullcrap. Odin Sphere looks a helluva lot better than anything I have seen from the 360 or PS3. Not even CLOSE. Art and graphics aren't even related past a certain point. IMO the PS3 and 360 passed this point. As for the constantly crap games because they sell argument, that's hardly how developers work. Obviously you will get a lot of crap to sort through but developers shift focus to money pretty fast. Look at what happened with Ubisoft. They ported 2 crap games, they sold well, then they pretty much shifted their entire company to Wii development. I'm not saying the Wii WONT get crap, I'd say the PS2 is proof enough that the leader console will always get lots of crap, but there will likely by more good games than you can ever afford if you take the time to sort through the crap.

No going by the games being developed over the next year or so.

Check out the list below:

Wii
Cosmic Family
Driver: Parallel Lines
Brothers in Arms: Double Time
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
Beowulf
Alive
The Dog Island
Lost
Petz
Prince of Persia Next Gen

360
Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions
America's Army: True Soldiers
Assassin's Creed
Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
Beowulf
Alive
Haze
Lost
Shaun White Snowboarding
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Prince of Persia Next Gen
Tom Clancy's End War

PS3
Rainbow Six: Vegas
GRAW 2
Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions
Assassin's Creed
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
Beowulf
Haze
Alive
Shaun White Snowboarding
Tom Clancy's End War
Lost
Prince of Persia Next Gen

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

That does it, the Wii is finished.

Well I don't think your list is a response to what naznipts said. Naznipt mentioned that they shifted their attention to Wii, while your list is good, it merly shows what they have been developing until now. The real question is what are they developing now. It is obvious just because Wii sold good they won't drop all their projects for PS3 and Xbox360.

On a seperate note, it is interesting to see how many exclusives the Wii has compared to PS3 and Xbox360. While according to that list PS3 has 2, Xbox360 2 Wii has 5.

Naznatips stated "Look at what happened with Ubisoft. They ported 2 crap games, they sold well, then they pretty much shifted their entire company to Wii development."  Going by the list I have posted, which includes all announced games in development, that this is not the case.

Ubisoft like other development companies have decided to develop games for both the PS3 and 360 hence the Assassin's Creed, Haze and End War's.  Talking about exclusives, there really isn't anything to write home about on the Wii.  The Dog Island, Petz and Raving Rabbids.  Driver is a remake of Parallel Lines.  Brothers in Arms is most likely a rehash of previous BIA games.

Unless Ubisoft is working on some hidden exclusive Wii games, then they really haven't moved on at all.

I know, that I'd rather play Assassin's Creed, Haze, End War and Splinter Cell: Conviction than anything being released on the Wii this year by Ubisoft.

Excellent, the next great beat'em up franchise after Virtua Fighter that is going to hit platforms with userbases that can't or don't want to support such a game enough to turn back a healthy profit for the publisher. Pure assumption, though is it that far off from reality?

DOA4 was a sales disappointment, judging from how well the franchise once sold.

I'm sure SCIV will sell well on the 360 and maybe even the PS3, but is every game gonna have to be held back gameplay-wise so that it gets released on the 360 and PS3?

Take that last line with a grain of salt.;) Whenever I get a 360, I will get SCIV without a doubt. I just thought I'd toss some of your fanboy truthiness back at you.:)

That would actually be myu concern if it got released on Wii and they made it motion sensing controls or some crap...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

What are you smoking my friend? Cause I want some, look at the list of game davygee just posted and tell me how exactly Ubisoft has shifted their whole company to the Wii when every single major game they have is going to 360 and PS3 except for a multiplatform Prince of Persia????

Let's look here: Assassin's Creed, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Haze, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Tom Clancy's End War all going to 360 and PS3....

This goes perfectly with my theory that companies bring their big games to PS3 and 360 and make their smaller ones on Wii.
