Just very simple. What is YOUR definition of a hardcore gamer?

People use this term in arguments, but it means different things to different people. 

My definition: "A person who is obsessed with computer/video games. Spends a large amount of their time either playing or discussing games."

according to gamepro hardcore gaming is a thing of the past... you know when we used to all play street fighter II... and now fighting games hardly sell at all... but thats according to gamepro...

Strange jokes aside, hardcore gamer: "One who wishes to identify themselves primarily with the activity of video gaming. Quantity of quality of gaming irrelevant"

My definition of a hardcore gamer is someone who is addicted to gaming, regardless of the medium or the technology. A hardcore gamer enjoys all games, and probably has a collection of consoles and a hard drive filled with ROMs and emulators. Graphics, potential, and price are not dividing lines to separate hardcore gamers from anyone else, nor are specific game play elements, styles or genres.

Hardcore gamers just like good games and good game play.
