Every ps3 owner has been begging for a firmware, that firmware is 2.40.

Sony is taking there sweet time releasing it, and we have been waiting 2 entire years, they said it will have in game xmb(access to messages/listen to ur own music while in game).

Though no date has been announced, and at the end of there post they said "shortly" and its been a week too long it seems.
