The ds is starting to show it's graphic capabilities are far pass that of the n64.

i wouldn't say that about this game.

the textures look really blurry.

If you want to see the ability of the DS, just look at Mario Kart DS. The graphics on MKDS are far superior to that of MK64

That is probably because Ign doesn't know how to take pictures, and about every game looks like shit from their site. Anyway the last screen looks far superior to any n64, game and there are far less jagies, more colors, and the textures that aren't blured look pretty nice.

It looks good, but it's not even close to looking as good as some N64 games.

Perfect Dark
Zelda Majora's Mask
Zelda Ocarina of Time
Donkey Kong 64
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Excitebike 64

Those games still look awesome, no DS game looks even close to mentioned games.

Moon doesn't look half as good as Perfect Dark.

Zelda PH doesn't look half as good as Majora's Mask.

I just beat MM and Ph looks far better. I've never played perfect dark, but from what I've seen it doesn't have anywhere near as good textures, or lighting that moon has.  not to mention character models being far better

 

 

Also what about that wizard of oz game? I could argue that as the best looking ds game so far.

 

Edit: Here is majora's mask here is Phantom hourglass.

I think they look about the same.

Well that's a pretty horrible screenshot. Play Perfect Dark on a good SDTV with an RGB cable and on hi-res 16:9 (that's 852x576 for me, PAL-user).

The game looks extremely good for an N64 game, it still looks great. It features high-res textures, dynamic lightning sources, an incredible view distance, amazing weapon models, etc.
