I'm an adult and I'm a consumer. I want to be able to buy and play games that appeal to me sometimes and are not meant in any way for kids. That includes violence and sex.

Yea it would be cool if some games had some sexual content.
I believe they should allow the selling of AO content that is a way to expand the audience... imagine the wii. Sorry if this post goes to far but it would be a new ocean, a white ocean with white wii consoles. They would just have to id people and make it 18 and over for the AO. They used to sell AO before on old consoles you just have to keep the games covered and away from children.

I am also disappointed at how the industry vilifies the AO rating. The industry itself refuses to treat consoles like any other player of media. DVD players play disney and porn. However, so many people still have it in their heads that video games are for kids, even though it is often repeated knowledge that the average gamer is in his 30's now.
I give that post a 9.7.

I personally don't like playing games with sex/alot of violence, but if people are allowed to play CoD4, they should be allowed to play games that are primarily sexual in nature. How is sex "worse" than violence?

Fake sex = lame
Keep the sex out of "normal videogames". Like someone said, if you really like pixelated porno that bad watch sexy beach.
Now that said I think charaters having sex as part of the story in a game is OK. I really just think it should remain understood, there is no reason to make a videogame XXX. I think PG-13 sex would not be too bad. There has been times in games I wished the Main charater to "get it on" and have a relationship with another charater.

Why? What's wrong with a game XXX versus one that isn't? Is a single sex scene (all it would take to get that) really a make or break thing?
