The only ones in that list I would consider buying are Uncharted and MGS4. Even then, they're not games which particularly attract me.

Motorstorm is a far better game then the ones you've listed, in my view.

It's a great game, and the with the sequel arriving in only a few months offering custom sound tracks, 4 player split-screen and impoved visuals, the PS3 is, in my opinion, home to the greatest racing games this generation.

@Acevil: Mirror's edge is also for the 360.

Get this through your head.  Forza and GT are not the exact same type of game.  GT is much more arcade.  The physics in GT are not intended to be as realistic.  GT5 has a broader appeal and it will certainly many more copies than Forza, but this GT5 vs. Forza direct comparison is crap.

I got 2 PS3s and I will just say it. There are not 5 out right now. More like 3.

What happened to the wii? Why is it only 360 fans who want a game ps3 or ps3 fans who want a game from the 360. What wii fans don't want these games?

Anyway take out resistance and grand turismo and everything is fine with the list.

I own a PS3, and more than half of those games don't even appeal to me! Drake and MGS4 are must plays! Resistance 1 was kind of "meh". I really don't feel hyped for Resistance 2. I kinda got my realistic racer fill from GTA3 (though I may still buy GTA5), and Final Fantasy is a game I'm approaching with a wait and see attitude.

Strangley, after my PS3 purchase last week, the only games for the system that I feel I really need to own are Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and Clank. Even more surprising is that, half the games on this top 5 list aren't out yet. The future is bright, and the PS3 is my most played system this week, but I can't play FFXIII and tell you if it's any good. I live in the moment.

GT has always been better than Forza graphically, but as a simulator?  Forza annihalates it. 

And if you dont want a simulator, why bother with either?  Get PGR or a multiplat rally game.

The Ps3 is the PSX and the 360 is the n64 with a year advantage.

At least that's how it's rounding out, I hope that means their will be some ground breaking games on the 360, but none of the games on the PS3 will be anything earth shattering some will be memorable. (FF7)

A lot of ps3 owners I've met were 360 owners or are - they have many reasons though for the switch. from RRoD 1 too many times to just plain old this thread's context.

The only games there that looked at all interesting to me are MGS4 and Drake's Fortune.


The best racing game is Burnout, hands down.
