Hardware sales would have likely been boosted as result. MGS fans would buy the system to play the game. Although how many would is unclear... So maybe 150K Japan, America 650K and Europe 300K

I don't see how GTA4 and DMC4 sales on Europe are rather the same for ps3 and 360 yet you knock off 100K+ for MGS4 launch.

Don't understand why you think the game would sell 100K copies less on the 360...

same as the ps3 launch in others and na but probably just 150k-200k in japan.

I wasn't to sure about what previous game's release I could compare it to. So I just made a conservative guess, and a bad one at that.

blue dragon is a flop

It has outsold disgaea 3 and valkyria by a nice margin and it's still the biggest selling next-gen jrpg in japan.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).
