Forums - Gaming - greatest games of all-time from gmae.co.uk(some suprises)

my favorite thing about that page, is that they gave 1m reward points (whatever those are for) to the guy who voted Killzone #1, even though it didn't even break the top 100.

Hey, look at it the positive way. If those reward points are credit for buying games, maybe they'll allow him to buy some good games so that he can change his mind...

Not enough pc greats. So many groundbreaking games are missing. Not cool.

there is already alot of games on that list from this gen,im suprised

It's a poll so of course the current generation games are fresh in everyone's mind. GoldenEye needs to be moved up 5 places.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I'm not too surprised. It was voted on by people who are currently playing games. Which means the 10 year old that just got his first system this year has as much say as the guy who's been playing games for 20+ years.

I perfer lists like the IGN top 100... that actually have people with some history behind it... not just anyone with internet.

i still put zelda on top in my list and thats all that matters to me

This is a voter tally, not a "critic's choice" or anything. If you took a similar poll for movies, you'd probably find Transformers in the top 10 or something along those lines.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
