I believe it will sell most on the PS3.
Assuming there isn't a major quality difference across platforms, and that the marketing makes it clear that it is available for all platforms, I think you will see a higher opening week for Alone in the Dark for the XBox 360 with the Wii version selling more over time.

It is a fact o_O You've been here for 6 months. How do you not know this already? Just look at this - http://vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=&console=Wii&publisher=&sort=Total and this - http://vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=&console=X360&publisher=&sort=Total Now try to spot the difference. |
I thought we were talking about multiplats here. Anyway the hardcore games on that wii list aren't too far away from the 360s hardcore games. Not only that, but they have better legs, and will eventually pass the 360s hardcore games. NOw you may argue that mario is more mainstream than halo 3, but I could argue that they both are equally mainstream in the gaming world. Now the wii might sell casual games better, but that doesn't mean the 360 sells harcore games better than the wii. Even if it was true that hardcore 360 games sell better than wii games that doesn't mean it will change or hasn't changed. Alot of those games on those lists are very old and shoudln't represnt the market as a whole because of how mainstream they are.
360
Seems like a game for the 360 crowd and the Wii version is going to suck, says initial impressions.

It's not really a matter of hardcore vs casual.
It's more guns, blood and violence vs happy, colorful and cartoony.
You won't see a game like Call of Duty selling 6 million copies on the Wii (at least not the way things are now) and you definately won't see something like Mario Galaxy selling 6 million copies on the 360.
These can both be categorized as hardcore games, but they just don't appeal to the same audience.
Also, in all honesty the controls will probably be completely broken and terrible on the Wii if they're anything like what was shown in the trailer.

Well, yes the PS3 version is delayed until September/October time, and this should reduce sales....but....the previews and reviews that are appearing are not favourable at all. There seems to be alot of technical hitches and annoying things in the game.
Could this be ironed out for the PS3 release as well as additional content...so maybe, just maybe the PS3 version will sell more than the 360...but the Wii version should sell well.
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

Because there hasn't been a quality game like Call of Duty 4 on the wii. Also there are many games with blood and violence that sell well on the wii. The re series for example. As long as the game is good it will sell well.
Edit: ALso I think the controls are fine. The only problem I have is they don't show you using them for the most important gameplay such as combat.
I bet 360 outsells the Wii bey 2:1 in the first 4 weeks
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
