Well i'm pretty upset at both Sony and Nintendo!

Sony released MGS4 and Civ Rev only a week before i had booked to go away and Nintendo are releasing SSBB while i am away...

Whats worse about MGS4 and Civ Rev is that i've had just long enough to become addicted!!!

Why do gaming companies do this to us? Dont they know how hard it is to cancel flights and hotel bookings...

I guess i'll have to make do with my DS and Civ 4 on the Laptop...

On a side note does anybody know anything worth doing in Phuket? I'm going with my girlfriend and another couple.

I cant believe nobody cares about my plight...

Phuket? Great place. Fantasea is quite interesting - I mean the acting is pretty shit but they get some ridiculous amount of elephants up on stage and it gets pretty intense - worth going to.

Umm. If you go to Bangkok (which is great as well) hit up the markets which are amazing (if only for the size!) and dine at a place called the Blue Elephant which is the single best meal I have ever had in my life, its well worth the premium and is cheap in comparison to any restaurant here with anywhere near the quality.

Rath , we have a day in Bangkok and two weeks in phuket. I'll make sure we try Blue elephant in Bangkok though. My GF will love the name if nothing else...
We went to Fantasea last time we were there, if was definately a different experience...
Where there any other more obscure things you tried and enjoyed? (try to keep your mind out of the gutter...)

Pfft I went there with the folks, didn't visit any of the 'interesting' places.

The elephant ride we went on was extremely fun and the snorkelling was crazy good. If you have never done the snorkelling before thats definitely one thing well worth doing, get a boat out to some of the smaller islands and go swimming and you will be swarmed by crazy amounts of fish.

Edit: Didn't really do anything obscure though... More just average tourist stuff. A visit to a tailor is well worthwhile though.
