How often do you get a scratched disc or package in horrible shape (or similar)?

Or no game at all?

Do u always pay with PayPal (or similar).

I've never bought any used games over the internet, because Im so afraid to get ripped off lol.

That is why you buy from people with a 99-100% rating. Most people have it so It's not hard to find. I've never gotten a scratched or broken disc, or an empty case. The only problem I have with buying online is waiting for the games to come.

Yeah really, anyone with at least 4 feedbacks on Ebay within the 90-100 percent range will not send you faulty merchandise on purpose. That's just about everybody. I think it's safer buying used games off Ebay than from gamestop.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I've bought used NES games on eBay and at the swap meets in the Classic Gaming Expo 3 years in a row, and at GameStop, GameCrazy, and the old dead FuncoLand. The only games I've ever purchased that never ever worked and were complete duds were at GameStop. eBay's great.

I bought Xenogears off Ebay about 4 years ago, and had a good experience.

Vagrant Story for the PS1 goes for a pretty penny on Ebay, but good luck getting me to sell my copy of FFVII, FFTactics, or Vagrant Story, ever, no matter how much money they offer me, lol.

I just got Ico brand new for $50 from ebay. Considering how rare the game is these days, that's a damn good deal.

Of course, I received a 35% off coupon from Live.com. :P

Holy cow, dude, you have that page ultra zoomed in.

If you're from the UK, you can also pick up used games real cheap from GAME, or Blockbusters (not so much Gamestation). We picked up Timesplitters 3 the other day for 97p. Most Gamecube/Xbox games are under a pound, and old PS2 games are usually just a couple of quid.

In Blockbusters you often get 3 for 20 smackers as well. My brother also picked up Crackdown and Halo 3 for 30 big ones the other day.

I would give more anecdotal evidence, but I've run out of ways to say "pound".

I don't see many GC games cheap.... perhaps because I am looking for 1st party things like Pikmin which are still in slight demand. (Pikmin I have seen cheapest at £6 while Pikmin 2 I haven't seen for less than £15)

I may start buying some old games that I missed, at the beginning of this generation, from Ebay.

Ebay is rubbish.

-UBISOFT BOYCOTT!-

5 finger discount or torrent downloads is the cheapest way of getting games. Free games.

I agree with majority EBay is rubbish.

My experiences with eBay have also been almost wholly positive, but I admit I had never thought of using it for resale myself.

Hmmm....

eBay ? what's that ?
