Edited for being offensive;...
Lolz;.

@konnichiwa: You're either being clueless or trolling, make your choice. The RROD has nothing to do with 360's architecture, it's a hardware problem. Architecture is more abstract than that.

^Well it was the first I thought off when I read Architecture and X360
I blame Nintendo with their English Training games who make me confused;

I blame Canada and Celine Dion.
Lost my faith in VGChartz. Too many stupid and ignorant Americans, even as moderators.
It's a shame, really. "The Boss" should do something radical about this Americanization, but it seems hardly feasible, so my days here are numbered.
@konnichiwa: you are a troll and should be banned.

Sigh if you guys really get offended by that then let me just take it away.

It's not about being offended, I don't think any of us here has designed the hardware... it's just totally off-topic and might start a flamewar.

This is the only correct answer.
But in all seriousness, why is it primarily UE3 engine games that have problems on the ps3? Games built on in-house engines that were designed to take both systems into account came out just fine, like Call of Duty 4, Devil May Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, Grand Theft Auto IV, among others.
Of course, developers have had issues with UE3 on both platforms. Silicon Knights sued Epic over UE3 issues, and from what I understand Too Human is being finished using a version of UE3 modified heavily by Silicon Knights (for which they are being counter-sued by Epic).
Tbh, I'm beginning to hate UE3. Developers seem to have nothing but trouble with the engine, and most games made with the engine have that radioactive glow characteristic of Epic's own Unreal Tournament III and Gears of War.
Well sorry but if you talk about architecture I think more about HW then SW...
But OT.
1) S-E one of the most talented devs of the world who never had problems with making a game on any platform haves problems with the PS3 version of a game so that the multiplatform game will be end up being a X360 'time' exclusive.
2) The same company just announced that one of their most popular titles will be 'Time' Exclusive on X360.....
Coincidence? Strange that people suspect a amount of money was involved?
Looking trough the history of the company I would not be surprised that they do that.

Well, had they used this engine before on the PS3? It's pretty natural for them to have the same problems other developers had.
