Really?

Now I was under the impression that macroblocking and posterizing were unintended effects of video compression. But I guess you must be right... the power of the cell is so great that it can make real time cutscenes look like poorly compressed video.

For reference this screenshot is from the end of Act 3, which has some of the worst compression I've seen in this game. Its also where leo-j is proven wrong with photographic evidence.

You see that so called pre rendered scene? You can use the 2nd controller while playing and fight that certain boss with that character.
