Past has always been a reference for the future, final fantasy has an impeccable history of games, and fable one was a very bad zelda clone, i think is as much an rpg as san andreas was. in fact if fable fits in the rpg gender, shadow of the colossus  fits too, heck even god of war and devil may cry because you get experience in those games and level up your gear. Conclusion fable 2 is most likely another crap

I think fable 2 will be more "innovative", and I think FFXIII will be galaxy's more epic :P Which caters well to both styles. Completely in-comparable, I think both games will be amazing :D

It's comparing pears with apples. Fable 2 still feels like an adventure with RPG Elements. The problem of Molyneux games is that this guy always has such big plans and innovations and when you finally played it. He tells you afterwards that there could have been more in it etc...

On sales FF XIII is gonna beat Fable 2. The problem is that we don't have too much information on this game and I wonder when it will get in stores. But allthough FF XII wasn't the best. One thing always has been strong on FF games and that's it's storyline. Combined with superb graphics and a nice new battlesystem it will grab my attention once again. Allthough Versus XIII seems even better at this moment.
