I'm tempted to agree with the consensus - technically, it's inferior - but realism isn't what art is all about. If you want a great looking, appealing game, you need good art direction.

Then you fall into people's personal taste for art - there are wayyy too many people who refuse to play games that look cartoony because it somehow offend their manly, adult testosterone.

It's the reason that some people (me included) find Zelda: Wind Waker to be the best looking Zelda to date wheras others were seriously pissed off at the art style.

In SMG the artistic expression imo looks nicer than the majority of games on 360 as most are based on what things would look like in the real world so its harder to be visualy excited by them. But ofcourse most wii games dont look particularly good anyway, and 360 in 99% of cases looks better.

::sigh:: What is the whole purpose of this Rock? I really enjoy the Wii, but I enjoy it for what it is. It's got great graphics (yes, darthdevidem01), but certainly is not on the level of 360 or PS3. I'm not sure if you are trying to flame the 360, the Wii, or both.

but they Wii is still better, because it's more fun and (for most people) fan is the most important!

The Wii has better graphics than the X360 in the same way MGS4 has over Crysis (which is probably the inspiration for this thread).

The Wii does have some pretty games compared to the Xbox 360. But we all know that the 360 will have better graphics because of its HD use.

I am one of the biggest wii fanboys (Nintendo fanboys) on this site. I support them no matter what they do and even if it is stupid I try to look at it at there perspective. I can tell you that there is not and will not be one Wii game even fron Nintendo that will have graphics that compare to even one ps3 or xbox360 games at all. If you took the games that have the best graphics on the Wii (SMG and metroid Prime) and put them on either ps3 or xbox360 you would be blow away and see how different the Wii graphics are so you will know how better they are.

The Wii graphics are not bad, but they are not 1080p type grapihcs. They made them the way they are bc they did not want the price to be like 400 and 900 for a gaming system. Also that is why there is no dvd player in them too. So I see were they are coming from and think it was a smart move. All the the Nintendo games are not that graphicaly inclind that having those HD graphics would be that much better then it is now

Edit: The Wii has some fun games like Mario Kart Super and Smash Brother Brawl and medal of honor hero 2 and madden and guitar Hero ect..., but most of the fun games you can get on any system so you might have it for the Wii and yet someone is just have the same fun as you on the xbox360 and ps3. The Wii needs to have better exclusives or the same games has to have exclusive material just for the Wii like ea does with it's game. Also when they do a games for all the system I also feel they should check all of the system games and make sure they do not have problem like guitar hero with the mono insteaid of sterio. That was something that was easly fixable if they would of checked the wii version! Also time to make a game is key. Do not rush a game so you can start making money. We know when you make good shit and mad shit! If you put all of those keys together you will have a good wii game. Something I might buy depending what it is of cousrce
