I agree 4850 is looking like a very attractive card but you reeks of a AMD fanboi.

oh and MSRP for 4850 is most likely $199. Online retailers like amazon and buy.com are already listing it at that price.

I've already admitted I'm an AMD fanboy* (Not really fanboy, just trying to make people see AMD as a choice when AMD offers a competitive solution). I honestly do think the results justify that AMD will have the best single-card performance and the best performance at each price point however.

*Reasons:

1. AMD has released specs on their graphics cards and are working with the community to build an open-source driver

2. Intel abused their monopoly position by bribing OEMs when they had an inferior product 2001-2006.

3. If AMD dies (and it's not looking good) then we would have an Intel monopoly.

4. I'm British. I've got to support the current underdog.

Yes, I'm seeing a $199 MSRP too. I'll update it.

Small overclocking of a GTX280... I mean, three of them.

I still want a Radeon HD4850.

LOL, that's awesome.

The real question is... will it run Crysis at a decent framerate?  :)
