People are also forgetting fable. It was one of the best selling games on the xbox last gen and the sequel looks much better. I think it will easily outsell the last version, I know its speculation but most games that sold well on the xbox sell even better on the 360. It will sell at least 3 million and will get the 360 even more RPG fans.

There IS massive speculation of a 360 price drop.
There is also no doubt that Microsoft is better positioned to provide one than Sony is.

starcraft is getting desperate these days. We will wait and see what happens in the second half of the year starcraft. PS3 should outsell the 360 by between 2 to 3 million worldwide in second half of the year.
Nintendo Wii will easily outsell both the 360 and PS3 combined. I guess Wii will be at around 50 to 51% market share by the end of the year. Xmas sales will see huge sales of the Wii. 6 million Wiis for Xmas period is possible. 3 million PS3's for Xmas period. 2 million for 360 for Xmas period.

Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.
1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

In the last week, several high-profile JRPG exclusives were announced for the Xbox 360, whereas the PS3 actually had titles CANCELLED.
I'm far from desperation, I'd think this would be more within the realm of people that follow brands rather than games, and expected a certain brand that went from outright first to dead last in the space of two years to be doing somewhat better.
