I see MS going after the DS, not the PSP. The only reason they went after the Sony, was it was the console making all the money.

 

MS follows the money, and the money is in the DS. That being said, MS will probably never release a handheld. They need to figure out there rapidly declining OS user base thing before they dump a few billion into a new industry.

 


 Yeah, most of the money is in the DS (though I am sure the PSP is profitable)

As for their OS, here is a hint for Microsoft: Vista=failure. It has too many features people don't want.

Every expert, with masters degrees in political science, and 30 years of experience in politics, said without a shadow of a doubt, that Hillary Clinton would win the primaries.

Experts are not that great at predicting things.

To be honest, I think most the regulars on this sight who can see things without fanboy goggles, are as capable (or better) at predicting things then the "experts". The only thing that might make someone in the industry better at it, is inside information.

How many "experts" predicted the Giants as the Super Bowl winners at the beginning of the playoffs? Hell, how about at the beginning of the game?

So, by inference, Sony was ripping off Nintendo when they created the PSP in the first place?

 

The handheld market is a tough place. That article doesn't prove anything, so I doubt we'll see a non-Zune MS handheld anytime soon, and if we do, I imagine its target would be the iPhone.

The DS has the handheld market down. You really cant stop it. It's had an enormous lead since the Game Boy. Anything Microsoft will release will not top the Nintendo handhelds. They are more than welcome to try though.
