Forums - Nintendo - The conduit will run in 30 fps... not 60 fps WAIT WHAT?!!

This argument is still going on?

Who cares? The game will run smoothly or it won't. The exact number isn't as important as downright good performance. That is what HVS is shooting for, and that is what matters.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

people can only see upto 24 FPS...so don't complain..

Incorrect.    24 fps is the point at which the individual frames are no longer individual images to the average person.  We can detect smoothness of animation well beyond 24 fps.

Otherwise we'd never have a game at 60 fps.  EVER.

hmm...okay true...but about the 60 fps..it's not needed...you could sill easily do it in 30 fps..wich works nicely

we don't NEED 60 fps ^^''....since I'm sure we will never see all 60...60 is nice...is it needed? no...

we could easily do with 50/40/ 30

yet people go to 120...I don't care really...as long as the game is fun to play and does it's job I'm fine

30 fps works of course but 60 fps is better. There is a marked visual improvement in the animation.

However beyond 60 fps, the improvement does become unnoticeable.

We can't do 40 or 50 because those are offset to the TV refresh rate itself which would case some other problems altogether.

What do you mean we won't see all 60 fps anyway? If you are referring to interlaced SDTV, you are still incorrect. We still get all 60 frames every second but they are cut into vertical stripes with rendering of the odd numbers then even numbers frame for frame.
