There are 2 people on my friends list playing MGS4 right now, and i can tell you there was no one playing GTA4 the night it came out on my friends list. And i have only ever seen 4 people on my friends list play GTA4.

You can't really use that as an indication of sales, though i'm 95% certain MGS4 will pass 1 million first week
