I used to play fishermans bait on the original playstation and loved it. i think the best system to put a fishing game on is the xbox 360.

This would be a genre for the Wii. You could make a plastic fishing rod thing that had a reel that would hit the trigger on the controller every so often when spinning it. That might actually be kinda cool.
Why would you want to buy a fishing game? Seriously. Go outside. Ride a boat. Bring along a fishing rod. The real world exists, you know, and believe me, it's far better than anything on a T.V. screen. Play games you can't play in real life, like Zelda, and what you can play in real life, play in real life. But that's just my opinion. If you really want a "good" fishing game, there's one on the Dreamcast that's supposed to be good with the fishing controller. But why would you want to play a fishing game? I've never understood that. I've played them before, and to me, they're shovel ware + extreme boredom. Do some real fishing. Smell that ocean water. It's a lot funner. If you want to play a video game, whip out some Metal Gear Solid, or something. If you don't like other video games, then go do some real fishing. You just can't beat "REAL."
well i do fish a lot in the summer but when it is winter i like to play fishing games....duh

Yes, I agree. Play Zelda. There is a real good fishing game included into Zelda.

Yes, Zelda TP is the best fishing game out there.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Same reason people buy virtual dogs. He likes fishing. He probably does it all the time. What if he can't make it to the lake, he can play a game.
@OP: Petition to EA to make King Carp 09, one of the only sporting games they don't milk every year. Have you looked at the 360's collection in fishing games? I'm sure it has a few.
micro soft makes very good games except for halo and thak you for backing me up quarashi

That wish was granted when the first Xbox came out, Mr. Troll.
