I am sure many of you have noticed how much a sealed FF2-3 go for on Ebay - (usually around $100 or so) as well as the Megaman X games

what I am asking is, what current-games do you think will increase value over time and become more valuable than they originally cost ?

Some believe some of the shovel-ware on Wii (coughcoughUbisoft) will become overpriced as the years pass on when they aren't widely available. (I am not kidding either - to lazy to post source but it was on Joystiq)

Oh you are an ass.

I guess it depends how far in the future you go, but I don't think shovelware will ever increase like that. Some SNES games are still cheap, but then you have ones like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound that are way up there.

 Edit: oh, I'm kinda tired so I didn't read what your actual question was >.> anyway, probably MGS4 like that guy said, Pikmin 3 (If it comes out, the second one is about 40 right now) and there's others I'm sure :3

Games that sell poorly but get great reviews and are highly praised by the fans. Zack & Wiki, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn are the only 2 games for the Wii that come to mind of having prices > $50 in the anywhere close to near future (as in next 2-3 generations)

It is possible that Okami and No More Heroes could join too, but I doubt it. As for future releases, you have to see sales numbers and trends first.

As for PS3, X360 games, I don't follow them close enough to guess.
