If the Wii version gets good reviews, it may be the first test to see if Wii owners are willing to purchase what many consider to be a "hardcore" 3rd party shooter. This is the first big name shooter that I can remember coming out with a Wii version along side the PS3/XBox/PC versions.

If it sells well, expect many 3rd parties to jump on the Wii hardcore bandwagon.

If it does not sell, expect a steady pile of casual games from 3rd parties for the Wii's lifetime.

Pacific is new, which does make it slightly more interesting, but I am still going to prioritise Gears / Resistance over this

If they actually doing the pacific island hopping war expect alot of jungle fighting since that how alot of the pacific war with the japaneese was like.

Yeah, CoD5 is a no-go for me.

By then I'll have my PS3, so I'll be knee deep in Resistance 2 and Gears to care about another Generic WWII shooter.

It's a damn shame too. For how awesome CoD4 is, CoD5 will be that much worse.

 They will have to incorporate some sort of naval combat with all the island hopping the americans had to use to fight there way through

from OPM UK, there is a rumour that IW are working on a sci-fi game, so we may never get CoD 6 but any game by IW will be great

On the other hand, IW may have insisted that no main series game may not be made by them, which is why this is Call of Duty: World at War, and so CoD 5 will be IW developed to not ruin the series name as much

Seriously, the genre sells. As a member of a games sales site you should know that. It might not sell as good as COD4 did, but they'll make some cold hard cash for sure. Don't like it? don't buy it! Just dont be a whiner about it.
