Therefore, until something official and verifiable comes out, you can't assume VG is wrong.

....I think you missed my point.  I trust VG numbers more than some "internal" unverifiable source.

 And as far as we know, so is this source. It explicitly says to wait for confirmation, which means its an approximation at best, a guesstimate at worst.

Sony critics have just as much right to be here as Sony fanboys. If you can't handle it, too bad.

All I can say is if Wii numbers were off by 100k after three months, I'd call VGChartz numbers pretty damn close. 100k doesn't sound like much to me.

I have never once asked for numbers to be lowered or raised on any console. Find a post of me saying any of the three consoles should be raised or lowered. Can't find one? Good, then let's keep talking as if you didn't imply I was simply being biased.

I'm not saying that this isn't right, I'm saying it's an estimation. Your suggestion that Ioi should change his estimation immediately to match some other estimation is silly. Wait for confirmation, then we're closer to something substantial. This isn't a conspiracy Blue3. No one is out to kill your favorite console. Well, except for Gballzack, but she's banned for now :p
