It's a parental lock. Ring your friend and ask for his password. After that, there should be no problems.
If he doesn't give a crap then the pass is probably 0000, or some other four numbers repeated, I'd try that if you can't get a reach of your friend.

^^ That'd be a stab in the dark. Presumably, if he didn't care, he wouldn't use a parental lock in the first place. No harm in trying though I guess.
Encryption, wep wap and all that shit.
I just turn all the security of on my router, makes it faster and people are welcome to use my Internet connection, its unlimited download.
