^He wasn't being sarcastic, as libellule spammed a lot of  2 threads about Ubisoft and Ninty knowing how the Wii is all about casuals with the same post. Learn to understand what is sarcasm or not.

This guy: only geeks and otaku want a storage solution on Wii!

Iwata: only geeks and otaku want a storage solution on Wii, and since they purchase such an awful lot of games, restricting them to buy new games is a waste of money. We'll give them something to buy more games from us!

That's the difference between the ''NoE-dick'' and Iwata the Big Boss.

Ahhhh now i understand the Wii fanboy even more. Third party tells you to go eff yourself you start a boycott but amend your boycott when they publish i game to save face. Hypocrites that you are when Nintendo tell you to go eff yourself you say well it was this guy from Europe not Japan so it is ok and you bend over and take it. You hypocrites make the rest of us Wii owners look bad.

LOL.  Very different situations.  I guess I'm just used to high ups from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo saying stupid thing so I don't get all up in arms when they do say something stupid.  However, the dead horse argument is this.

UBISOFT was one of the few developers to support the Wii at luanch.  And they were big winners with Rabid Rabbits and RedSteel (core game) selling over a million copies.  They then showed pleasure and said they would soon be supporting the Wii with "NINTENDO QUALITY" software.  Nintendo fans rejoice because Ubisoft actually has some solid IPs.  Then Ubisoft releases Assassins Creed, Tom Clancy, Prince of Persia, and BG&E exclusively for the HD consoles and has only announced Rabid Rabbits 3 for the Wii.  Ubisoft then spouts the typical crap about the Wii that PC/360 developers have been saying despite no proof that they won't sell, they will not give Nintendo their quality IPs.  I agree a boycott is rediculous since their is nothing to boycott.  But being a Nintendo fan it is hard not to be dissapointed that there is no true AAA third party game for the Wii despite its dominance in the market place.

Now what Nintendo has done.  Nintendo of Japan has mentioned that the lack of hard drive is an issue and they are working on it.  Some peon in Europe who clearly is not in control with the decision making (few people outside of Japan are when it comes to Nintendo) spouts the crap that a HD is not an issue.  All the while Nintendo based games are awesome.  If you dissagree fine, but the DS and Wii became the dominant forces not because of hardware or third party support but because Nintedo continues to pump out hit after hit.

So the reality is simple.  If you wish to boycott Nitnendo, you might as well sell your Wii on ebay.  There are a few novel third party games for the wii, but without Nintendos own IPs it would be the worst console I owned.  And for Ubisoft it is simple, come to the plate with the first AAA third party game.  Then tell me the boycott will last.

Hm, must be lots of geeks and otakus here to have caused such a stir. :p

That PR is bloody well right, in fact the new Wii's storage device will be called either "Giik", or "Otakii", the final decision will be taken after a poll on "2600".

I am not saying ubididn't screw uswii owners, just noticing all the pathetic wii fanboys with boycott ubi in their sigs change their tune when they published a good game and now defend this pr guy from ninty as being retarded, uninformed etc etc...  I agree with what you said though especially the boycott being stupid. lol dumbass fanboys need to cling to something i guess.

Dumbass mollycoddle fanboys are the same whatever is the latest toy, now it's Wii, tomorrow who knows, so let's just ignore them, or better, let's gladly see producers milk them for money while it lasts, they'll help finance price reduction for us. While I quite respect technophile early adopters, it's their passion to dive on novelties, and being often quite competent, they also help to debug new products, other than helping their launch and paying the successive price reductions for us others, I've a lot less sympathy for spoiled brats. That said, I don't consider fanboys (and fangirls ) on this site belonging to the worst subcathegory, here I see enthusiasts, that like the consoles and games they bought, I don't see them ditching the game they showed to love till last minute as soon as a new one is released, and this is one of the necessary and despisable features of true spoiled brats.

I'm with Nintendo on this one. The only people I know that are complaining about storage are gaming mags/sites. The many people I know personally that own a Wii don't really give a damn, myself included.

Once you actually start buying games for your Wii and pay attention to the ate up storage space, you'll care.

Deleting something I paid good money for is the wrong solution.  It's not just gaming mags/sites.  It's everyone else that owns a Wii except you and the other 7 people that don't buy games for it.

Ninty focusing on casual market CONFIRMED

Wii not competing vs the PS360 in term of market CONFIRMED

Wii not being the next NES/SNES/PSX/PS2 in term of software domination CONFIRMED

(Wii selling like hot cake for years STILL TRUE
Wii outselling PS2/PS360 WW sales (+150M) STILL TRUE)

Are you living in your own world? I mean have you seen the amount of Hardcore games that are coming to the Wii.

Welcome to the real world.

==> Animal crossing for E308 CONFIRMED

Whatever the amount of hardcore games coming to the Wii (Fire emblem or Metroid prime), the games that are selling the console are Wiisport/MarioKart/Brawl/Wiifit

Actually, the 20+ million-sellers on the Wii span a wide range of styles and genres.  And you must be ignorant to refer to "Wii Sports" as "one of the only games selling on the Wii."  It's packed in with the thing everywhere but Japan, you doofus.  By the way, complain all you like, but Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros Brawl are pretty much hardcore titles--especially Brawl.  Resident Evil 4 Wii has almost outsold the GameCube edition, and more than tripled Capcom's initial predictions.

Hardcore 3rd party games would sell on the system if, oh, say, the damn devs and publishers actually put some thought into the quality and advertising of these things.  They only have themselves to blame.
