Slightly back to the red giant star thing, when a star exhausts it's supply of Hydrogen, it begins fusing helium. That requires a higher temperature, so the sun expands, but since it becomes so large, the outer shell turns red/orange (in any case, darker) due to the distance between it and the core, because the heat dissipates slightly before it reaches that far. In larger stars, after the Helium is all fused, it will switch to fusing Carbon, then Neon, then Oxygen, then Silicon, on down to Iron. Any elements heavier than that are produced by explosion of a supernova.

On a side note, no elements existed aside from hydrogen and helium in the early universe, aside from tiny trace amounts of Deuterium, Lithium, and Beryllium. Everything else has been fused together by a star sometime in the last 14-15 billion years.

For further information I would recommend looking up Stellar Nucleosynthesis. Also Big Bang Nucleosynthesis.

(emphasis added)

I believe you mean that it PRODUCES a higher temperature.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

what do you mean?

yup there is one.

Was someone the supreme necromancer Nagash here or something?

And no I don't think God exists.

I believe there may be some kind of sentient ultimate manifestor(God). Or there could be an impersonal creative force, or master equation behind the universe. Don't really know.

I believe there may be some sort of source energy, or flow of conciousness people can connect with through meditation. Don't know personally but I've read quite a bit about meditation.

I believe early man may have been visited by aliens and they called them gods. These aliens could have gentically modified mankind from pre-existing beings, a.k.a 'made' us in their image. hehehehehe...

I do not believe any flesh human(jesus christ) was a god. Some human beings may have more spiritual knowledge and abilites than others, for example Buddha and Jesus. They both walked on water! :P

I do not believe the ultimate manifestor(God) has any effect on peoples lives, but there may be lesser gods, or spirit beings, that communicate with mankind.

When I was a christian I was a deist. Though intellectual honesty I discovered I was an agnostic. I don't know if God or gods exists. I act as if they don't, but who am I to say any particular god doesn't exist? Be it YHWH of judeo christianity, Melek Ta'us of the Yezidi people, Allah of the Muslims, Brahman of the Hindus... I've seen no proof for or againt these gods. All we have are books that people claim to be from the gods, we have no way of knowing if they really are from the gods.

If there are any gods, they obviously don't want to be known about by mankind at large, or *do* want to be known about but for some reason can't... Thus they aren't all powerful, or set a silly restriction on themself.

I've always wondered how nothing can be made from something. I believe in evolution but i always believed in some supernatural being that started it.
