Looks like they're going back to the first two games after straying from the path with 3 and 4. I just hope they've added something more to the formula, something that improves the game instead of making it a shooter.

Lookin' good.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

On the PSP? Not bad. I'd imagine that big-ass coat rack (or whatever it is) isn't an inventory item. Let's just slip that back in our pocket there... nice.

If it's not an inventory item, looks like the game's gonna let you freely pick up and use certain items in your environment as weapons. That box he's about to throw suggests this too... Could be interesting.

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.

I really enjoyed Silent Hill 2. SH 3 and 4 were not quite as good. Origins looks like it may be back on track. I'm looking forward to this one.

You can use objects in your environment as weapons. Also weapons that you use, for example a hammer, will on work for a finite number of hits then it breaks.

This will create a "where the hell can I find something to throw at the zombies" style of play.

I am really looking forward to this game. It looks fantastic; and all the previewers seem to feel that you can still quite easily get scared.

It certainly looks like a game that you plug in your headphones, put it to full volume and play it in a darkened room. Brilliant!!!
