*deleted* product manager Aaron Greenberg says that *.....................................................deleted............................* swiftly growing selection of content.

"I think that we are not, I would say...*Deleted* with the ability to find and discover content as easily as we'd like for consumers to be able to do that," Greenberg told MTV Multiplayer.

Greenberg said that *deleted* interface was never intended to serve the amount of content that the platform currently offers. The steady stream of new downloadable items such as games, new content and videos recently prompted *deleted* to consider *...........................deleted.........................*

 "I think a lot of that is we built *deleted* for a few hundred items and now we have 17,000 items," Greenberg added. "We built a small store and we filled it with lots of lots of stuff. We're feeling some of *.......................... deleted ......................" those tradeoffs we've had to make."

Greenberg went on to suggest that the last major update to the *deleted* interface, which arrived as part of an *deleted* update last fall, wasn't enough to solve the problem. Though the manager would not specify whether or not a complete overhaul is in the cards, he noted that some upcoming changes should ease the bloat.

"Longer term, we're looking to make the ability to find content and organize the 17,000 pieces of content we have a lot better."

I took out everything that says anything bad about the console, I even took out the name of the console so that this thread isn't considered flamebait or trolling by our lovely mod staff!

Of course it isnt' fucking understandable, but hey, what can you expect when even true and informative threads get locked if they say anything bad about a console.

I think they'll fix it soon. Meantime, they should probably put a readable expiration date on some content and clean house on stuff that garners little attention. The content should run in cycles, like OnDemand, with popular stuff going into some sort of archive or returning as 'greatest hits' or something. 17,000 is a ridiculous number of stuff. I don't think anyone would begrudge Microsoft for trimming some fat considering they've overdelivered to such a magnitude.
PS- I don't own a 360 yet, so if they already do this, my bad.

Wait, they didn't see this comming? In the 3 years they've had the system out?

One of their goals was digital distribution and they didn't realize that there's a lot to distribute, and therefore a lot of potential random stuff (Someone wants it) to wade through for consumers as the service grows? Really?
