BTW has anyone noticed that if you go to 'my profile' and look at your profile page, and then hit refresh, you get an extra 'profile view'???

I bet this has been raised before, but i just grabbed myself 6 more profile views by accident trying to work out if that was the case lol

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

^colonelstubbs now has 7 profile views ;)

Anyways, I support this motion. Also, I don't know if it's too much to ask but what about different resolutions. Boy would I love to view this site in 1680*1050

the number system is great, it would be good to then have that number like an anchor so you can link some one directly to that exact post, it would then save them from having to scroll to the number ;)
Yeah, that would definitely be a cool feature!
Yeah, too bad we don't already have that.

[edit: Oh nevermind, I get what you mean now. But what with timestamps and the Find function, it's a low priority for me.]
You can do this too. All you have to do is add &start=

So although fkusumot's post is #5, it is the 4th reply to the topic, so you stick in a &start=4
1.  Link didn't seem to work as advertised for me.

2.  Don't you still have to do the work of counting the posts?

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

It is a great idea. Wii Bingo thread must be numbered 1337.

Linked worked fine for me, but it's still not what's being asked for.  People don't seem to understand what an anchor actually does (not you, but the people suggesting this behavior already exists).

This way that's been linked uses a page load and loses the posts before it that may have been displayed.  With anchoring you wouldn't lose the posts before or after on the page you're viewing and the only time a page load would be necessary is if the anchored post isn't on the page you're viewing.

That said, I think it's a very good idea.
