I hope MGS5 has a 3 hour long cutscene. Seriously. If it does have a 90 minute cutscene. An epic video game and an epic movie in one. Thats like double value for the win. Thats amazing. People could bitch about anything. ooh boo hoo I got more brilliant stuff than I wanted. I don't like value for money, they should have put less effort into the game. Seriously..... dry your eyes.

 If such a thing as a "system seller" exists, then MGS4 is absolutely a system seller.

I think you may be confusing a niche product with quality.

I dont really want to read the whole thread, but one post did catch my eye. No where did this say that Konami is making them give the game 10s or 9s. So give that conspiracy bull a rest.

They are simply telling them to not mention the cutscene times and mandatory install size.

So really, these reviewers were given this list of things that is enough to be shaddy and piss some people off, and STILL give the game 10's and 9's.
