MGS4 is a niche hardcore game, if you don't know if you'll like it then you should probably rent it first before jumping in.

Theres a list of good games to buy that are stickied in the Sony forums you should check it out. It will give you something to spend that $100 on when you get your PS3.

Call of Duty IV is quite an obvious one to look at, if you like shooter games. Ratchet and Clank is really fun and easy to get into if you like cartoony/platform games and theres Uncharted drakes fortune which is quite an easy game to enjoy and get into.

You will have lots of fun with your PS3. MGS 4 is here in 10 days. Lots of other excellent PS3 games already available. The future will see more great PS3 games including GT 5 , God of War 3 and FF XIII and many, many more.

uncharted is so good you will love it,,the story is really immersive and beautiful,,,,I have played through the game 3 times which is the first game ever that I have touched after beating it once,,,so many unlockables

Also if you like nintendo games ,you might like ratchet and clanck :TOD

any ways I think the deal can be seen on the walmart site but they were sold out 2 days ago ,, they might have got new shipments,,,,,

im a nintendo fanboy, i wont lie, but like i had a ps2, ill also have a ps3 and enjoy it.

im just not going to be as hardcore, buying tons of random titles that wouldnt of sold if not for the fact that people want the ps3 to do good (uncharted, GT, that game with the sword chick.)

im really going to enjoy MGS4, ive always loved the series, aswell as my high hopes for FF13 (even tho 12 blew balls,) RE5, and... oh ya, thats it.

although i think KH3 will be for the wii, im glad ill have a ps3, just incase its for the ps3 (with a .01% 360 chance.)

edit: im not waiting for walmart, and decided tomorrow i will be getting a used one from gamestop. hopefully i can go to blockbuster and find a used PS3 game for 8 dollars to enjoy before MGS4
